Who runs BrightSparkz’s camp programs?
BrightSparkz camp programs are facilitated by the staff that you hire to work at your camp. Our passionate team will provide virtual group training prior to the commencement of your camp to ensure your staff are equipped with the knowledge to run the programs effectively and keep campers fully engaged. Your staff will also get a manual to refer to as a reminder if needed.
How customizable is the program content?
Our activities have been carefully curated by a team of experienced professionals! While we recommend sticking to the program structure for optimal results, we understand that each camp has unique requirements. We can tailor the content to fit your camp’s schedule, themes, or specific goals. We’d love to chat about your needs!
How much does each program cost?
Our program prices are tailored to your specific requirements, including the number of participants, how many weeks you’d like the camp program to run for, how many programs you opt for, and the level of customization you’d require. Please contact us to discuss your needs and we’ll provide a tailored quote.
How is the programming structured?
BrightSparkz offers programming for a wide variety of ages, ranging from 4 – 12, and around different core themes and competencies. You can choose one or more programs to complement your existing camp activities based on the age group of your campers.
Most of our programming will occupy half of the camp day so that campers have the opportunity to have plenty time for free play, water play, snacks and lunch. They typically follow a guideline of two activities per day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. These are flexible if full-morning or full-afternoon sessions are preferred.
How will the programming align with our camp values?
We work closely with camp directors to understand each camp’s unique culture, mission and values. Our programs are fully modifiable and inclusive – created to be easily aligned with each camp’s goals.
What equipment or resources are required to run the programs?
Each of the BrightSparkz camp programs have a detailed program guide that outlines all of the necessary equipment and materials required to successfully run activities. Most of the activities can be adapted to use materials that are readily available at your camp. The more specialized activities such as those that make up the STEM camps, are readily available on Amazon or from educational stores and suppliers.
How can we measure the success of the programs?
BrightSparkz will provide feedback sheets that your staff will be required to complete as frequently as possible. These evaluation tools and resources will help you assess the effectiveness of the programs. BrightSparkz can also provide guidance on collecting feedback from parents and campers to measure the impact on their learning and development.
