Who is Planet Kids?

We’re honoured to be partnering with Planet Kids this summer to deliver two exceptional camp experiences… with an educational twist! Planet Kids and BrightSparkz understand that as a parent, you need a simple solution to keep your kids stimulated – while having fun and learning over the summer vacation. If you can relate, you’re in the right place!

Planet Kids is an expert in providing memorable summer day camp experiences for kids aged 5 – 16. They’ve been around for over 25 years and have run hundreds of programs for kids over the years, including sports, arts, science and leadership.

Which BrightSparkz camps are on offer this Summer?

1. Little Sparkz: Kindergarten enrichment with a twist!

BrightSparkz’s Little Sparkz program was created by a team of experienced educational professionals with the aim of preparing children to enter Kindergarten and Grade 1 with confidence and thrive through their early school years! Your child will experience the fun in learning while building these foundational skills:

Basic literacy & numeracy
Gross & fine motor skills
Co-ordination
Memory
Logical thinking
Improved vocabulary

There are two levels of the Little Sparkz program:

Level 1 is designed for Junior Kindergarten-aged children.
Level 2 is more advanced, catering for children Senior Kindergarten-aged children as well as Grade 1 learners to refine their skills!

Each day during your child’s Planet Kids camp week, they’ll be exposed to a variety of activities including worksheets, games and creative activities around familiar themes, focusing on enhancing and mastering skills they need to succeed! At the end of the week, your child will bring home a compilation of these activities to show you. We hope you enjoy looking through them and having your child tell you all about them! 2. Bright Minds: Mastering Math | Celebrating Science | Tackling Tech

Bright Minds – a camp designed to celebrate STEM! This program was created by two sparkling STEM Camp experts who love sharing their passion for STEM with young students. Children who have completed Grades 3 – 5 are the inspiration behind this program that aims to demonstrate how fun and exciting a summer STEM experience can be!

Your child will be exposed to a variety of games, educational pieces, individual and group projects covering practical aspects of Math, Science, Technology & Engineering.
